Matthew D'Abate

I was raised in a small town in the smallest state; Smithfield, Rhode Island. Currently, I reside in the ever evolving world of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I direct and produce short films, music videos, and documentaries, and am always on the look out to connect creative people together from all mediums. I am the founder and creator of LITERATE SUNDAY, an international anonymous literary group, and am the Editor-In-Chief of CATALOGUE, a literary journal based in Brooklyn, New York. I have been the Creative Director of Le Chat Noir for 10 years, hosting artistic happenings in Manhattan and Brooklyn. By combining writers, painters, filmmakers, and musicians alike, these Le Chat Noir happenings unite creative individuals to inspire collaboration and the conception of new and interesting works of art and community.

I want to make projects work.
